The monthly subscription will include a chapter of the story complete with several limited-edition copies of hand painted art from that chapter. There will be several stickers from that chapter, and a recipe card (as there are some good cooks at Blackberry Bank!) There could be a hand drawn illustration one month for you to colour or a character bookmark for you to collect the next. Rest assured that every item sent has been handmade here at Blackberry Bank, even the sleeve that holds all the goodies together is an original hand painted design.

The inspiration for this story came to me as a vivid dream that I had. I dreamt of a place called Blackberry Bank and of a little field mouse called Thimble. Later the very same day I was planting a new flower bed and dug up a silver thimble, the main character in the story. I took this is a sign and started the snail mail club. Thimble and her friends were born and now Blackberry Bank lives within me, in my head and in my heart.

This tale is a story I would have adored as a child. My grandfather’s lap would be waiting, and he’d say, “not that one again!” as I bought him a book to read to me. I loved him reading to me and often would bring the same story to him, never tiring of the love he gave me through reading the stories to me. This monthly envelope I hope brings you that same joy, a time to sit somewhere cosy and escape the harshness of life, to stop scrolling, to escape, sip at your drink and relax. In this world of constant virtual bombardment of information and images on screens I believe it is nice to hold something that is tangible in your hands, that reignites the magic of childhood.

At Blackberry Bank everyone has a story to tell, and everyone deserves a place to belong. This is the story of a gentle woodland adventure in a world where the lost, the lonely, and misunderstood find friendship, belonging, and a place that they can call home. It is a richly illustrated story of a tiny mouse who finds a new home and how her new woodland community become her friends and help her with a special quest. The story explores themes of friendship, forgiveness, courage, empathy and the true meaning of home, whilst offering a sense of woodland adventure, discoveries and magic. At its heart is that love and belonging can travel through generations as the story weaves its way through the tale and highlights that love always survives.

It is prohibited to use, replicate, re‑purpose or re‑sell any of Blackberry Bank Studios’ photos, artworks, designs, writing or products without written permission.
Mail Club T&C's: Your Mail Club subscription renews automatically each month unless cancelled. Once your payment for the current month's Mail Club has been successfully processed, your subscription for that month's letter is confirmed and is non‑refundable. You may cancel your subscription at any time. If your payment for the current month has not yet been processed, your cancellation will take effect immediately and you will not be charged.
If payment has already been processed, your cancellation will take effect from the following billing cycle, and you will still receive any letters included in the month already paid for.
Prepaid Subscriptions Prepaid subscriptions are offered at a discounted price in exchange for a fixed‑term commitment of 12 months. By purchasing a prepaid subscription, you agree to receive the full number of letters included within your chosen subscription term. Prepaid subscriptions are non‑refundable and cannot be cancelled before the end of the selected term. If you choose to cancel during an active prepaid subscription, your cancellation will be scheduled to take effect once your prepaid term has been fulfilled and all letters included within your subscription have been sent. No full or partial refunds will be issued for unused time remaining within a prepaid subscription.
Lost or Delayed Mail Delivery times are estimates only and may vary depending on Royal Mail and international postal services. We cannot guarantee delivery dates. If you believe your Mail Club letter has been lost in transit, please contact us and we will be happy to help to rectify the issue.
